Set up Instructions

1. Print the game
   

2. Gather these supplies:

• Your ancestors names (just parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents)
• 3 locks (one might be on a vehicle or a locked cupboard)
• 3 containers that can be locked, such as a backpack, luggage, or a plastic container.
• 3 or more balloons
  
• Pencil or pen
• Tape
• Scissors

(optional)

• A photo of one grandparent
  
• An object that can represent “a powerful artifact that has the ability to grant wishes”. You could use a family heirloom like a seashell necklace, a family book, a piece of jewelry, or a scarf.
  
• A treasure “that your ancestor hid”
  

3. You will use your names to fill in the blanks in the cards in the game. You can get the names from a fan chart.

How do I print fan charts and pedigree charts?

4. Play the game in your home or at your family reunion.
